Do Groomers Have To Be Licensed?

What Is A Master Groomer?

Building The Van Process and Pictures

So what exactly is taking so long clients are asking. Here’s why:

Find the vehicle, took almost 3 months, check
Find someone to pop the top, took 4 weeks, check
Get the vehicle to the place for about two weeks, check
Topper on, check
Get windows tinted, check
New design and logo, check
I will be much happier when there are more than three lines above this one.
Update
Find wall and floor material, check
Get special shocks installed, and other things that are a secret, check
Special order what seems like 7 millon parts, check
Design layout and systems, check
Design lighting system, check
Layout, lighting, water systems in, check
Get RV place to pre-wire electrical system and run propane lines since I can set fire to myself with a match by mistake, rather leave this to professionals, 1.5 weeks, check
Start rough frame in, check
Finish rough frame in, check
Take back to RV place for electrical and propane hook-up test after rough frame in, check
Now get ANOTHER bathtub drilled for drain holes correctly, check
Decide on other free standing grooming equipment, well, won't fit so not a check issue any longer
Drill and install new tub, check
Cut and install tub surround, check
Take to get wrapped instead of painting and logo/lettering put on, 1.5 weeks, check
Pick up van from wrap place to continue finish build, check

Finish so it can be used, uncheck

In-between, keep current van from being towed, AGAIN, to the mechanic, groom, return calls, do 27 loads of dirty dog towels a week, run my second business, take care of my own kids, clean the house, do my laundry, run the errands, run all over city and the internet gathering and special ordering parts and at some point sleep, saving time by not eating since doing that on a daily basis is becoming more hassle that it is worth and I am thinking of it as a weight loss system.

Here is what the van looks like, albeit dirty and it will not be white when it is finished. Second picture is empty van with at least now a sub-floor. That is where all the guts and bathtub, water, etc., will eventually go. Third picture is of the side caro doors where some day within the next two months there will be walls, a floor and grooming stuff! No further pictures until the walls are completely in since the rest is my trade secret.

The last two bottom pictures are the almost completed van. I'm in the process of laying the flooring. Of course, the bottom picture is of the devil spawn, heathen rat bastard bathtub that held up the entire process for over a month. Spending the weekend figuring out how to build storage since presently there is no room for towels or shampoo which in light of what I do is rather a problem. Still have not decided if I will keep the passenger seat in or not, nor have I decided why the hell I even decided to do this since I am way too old for this crap!
