Little Spork is a 10 year old Dachshund, who took a bite at a vet tech while she was working on the dog, big surprise for all us animal professional's! The story is a tad confusing but apparently the vet at the hospital is supporting the vet tech's decision about pressing charges. The City of Lafayette Colorado has declared Home Rule and is trying to kill little Spork due to being a vicious dog. The bigger problem here aside from people being afraid to take their pets to vet office for fear of the same thing happening is this happens all the time. If your old, deaf, almost blind dog bites someone while they are tormenting it in your yard, the city will come in and kill your dog for you. It has happened in every city in the Metro area.
