Dachshund (Doxi) Weenies Wacing 4 Wescue Sunday, September 21, 2008. I would encourage this one by the fact that there are actually a lot of Doxi's that are in handicapped carts so they can walk so the money is going for a great cause! They will have costume contests and races such as Little Links, Frankfurters, Senior Schnitzels, etc. This year it will be in Larimer Square along with Octoberfest. Great Dane Walk In The Park Fundraiser Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Cherry Creek State Park. That is at Parker Road and Orchard in Aurora. There is a 3-mile and 1-mile walk format through beautiful Cherry Creek State Park. Each registrant receives a t-shirt and goodie bag. After the walk there will be food and entertainment along with various vendors. Saturday, September 20, 2008 at I-25 and Surrey Ridge Exit. Benefits the Buddy Center in Castle Rock.
